Results and Fruits

Have we truly realized that there is a big difference between results and fruits?

When we think of something producing a result, we’re talking about something singular or isolated. For example, if someone wants to save money and follows a method to reach that goal—that’s a single, individual achievement.

But when we talk about fruits, we’re talking about abundance. When you plant a seed—whether it’s an apple seed or any other kind of tree—the result is not just one fruit, but many, and often all at once. In other words, fruits multiply.

When we talk about spiritual conversion and faith, the Bible speaks of a fruitful life. When someone inherits spiritual fruits, they become a blessing to themselves.

But here’s the key: being fruitful is not measured by the works we do or by religion—it is measured by whether we live by faith and trust in God’s justice.

That is why the Bible teaches:

“So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.’”

(Galatians 3:9–10)

Abraham, the father of faith, was an obedient man who never questioned God’s direction. In fact, in certain parts of Scripture, he is referred to as the man who carried the promises—meaning, he carried the fruits. He was a blessing in every place and position God placed him, because he never stopped relating to God or believing in His will.

The Bible teaches that if we believe in God with the same kind of faith Abraham had, we spiritually become the same kind of blessing. This blessing is not about material things—it is about a restored relationship with God and the promise of eternal life. In other words, we become a blessing in our home, in our family, at work, and in every area of life—as long as we remain in relationship with Him.

Faith is more than behavior—it is commitment.

Living by faith does not mean doing religious, popular, or routine actions we don’t fully understand. Because those who truly depend on God are aware—and they produce distinct and lasting fruits.

What happens when we lack commitment and don’t depend on Him?

A life without commitment will always be surrounded by misery, addiction, defeat, and insecurity. Many people today are suffering because they try to achieve everything by the strength of their own hands. But our human efforts—without His presence—get tired, and do not produce lasting fruits.

Living by biblical faith—the Word of God—is more than living for results; it is living filled with His promises, like a marriage that is truly blessed.

With all this in mind, I leave you with one question: Are you satisfied with just results—or are you living by the promises?

Remember: It is the promises that lead us to salvation.

May God bless us all.
